Shearing Day Set-Up

Sheep need to be completely dry to shear. They should be kept off feed (including pasture) and water for at least 12 hours before shearing. They need to be enclosed in a small pen, small enough to be able to grab a sheep without chasing. In the most ideal set-up, I shear inside the pen, though I can pull sheep outside if there is help managing the gate. I will need power, a level 8’ x 8’ floor area, ceilings that are at least 8’ tall, and a wall or post for hanging my motor. Please provide a wood floor or 4’ x 6’ piece of. plywood or contact me ahead of time so that I can plan to bring plywood. Please contact me if you have any questions about your set-up.
